New Start New Beginnings Old Habits

I made it through my first month of not choosing to eat processed sugars and fruit with the exception of gum and almond milk. I may’ve drank almond milk that had sugar in it a few times during January. I did notice a change in my mood and energy levels, but they may’ve come with my eating habits as well. I was able to eat one meal per day for at least 20 days. On the days I ate once, I was more willing to work out whether it was walking or lifting weights. I’ve also seen a drop in my blood pressure on the days I do this which has relieved me some because I became afraid when my pressure was higher than normal. At times I felt there was nothing I could do about it because for awhile the numbers stayed the same even when I ate less and excercised. I believe I can go without processed sugars for the rest of the year. I remember when I stopped eating meat, I just turned it off like it was nothing. I was in a group in college that were all vegetarians. Something’s are easier to do when it becomes apart of the culture.
